Hlubikazi Mboya
Hlubikazi Mboya is one of South Africa's favorite actress, and a remarkable HIV/AIDS ambassador throughout Africa. She was born in 1978 and she is best known for her role as "Nandipha Sithole" on the SABC3 soap, Isidingo.
Hlubi spent most of her childhood in the United States but returned to SA and graduated from Rustenburg Girls' High School in Cape Town. She studied 3rd world politics and labour law at the University of Cape Town.
In 2000 she auditioned for a position on Isidingo, South African's favourite soap. She got the job and took over the role of Nandipha Sithole from Manaka Ranaka. She plays a role of a young HIV-positive woman who manages to persevere and succeed despite the challenges of her life. She discloses her HIV status and people learn to come to terms with the situation and accept and love her for who she is despite the disease. She has been on the soap for eight years now and she enjoys every moment of it, having established good relationships with her co-workers and viewers.
Her Isidingo role has also opened the doors for her to become a speaker on the future global impact of HIV on youth in real life. She has travelled to African countries such as Tanzania and Zambia as an HIV/AIDS ambassador.
Besides acting on Isidingo, in 2005 Hlubi presented the second season of the SABC2 'mind makeover' television series "It's for Life", which aired at midday on Sundays. She also made her film acting debut in the 2006 South African short film "Shogun Khumalo Is Dying". In 2007 she was a subject of the fourth episode of the e-tv documentary series "Behind the name" which showcased some of South Africa's biggest showbiz personalities.
Hlubi has appeared on the covers of famous South African magazines including True Love and Elle. She has also been ranked in five editions of FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in The World.

Mawisa Clair

- Claire Mawisa
Claire Mawisa, best known as a Modeller, was born in 1974 in Gugulethu, Cape Town. She is a television presenter and a co-host for Yfm's breakfast show. Claire spent her early years living with her mother in Gugulethu. They later moved to Kenilworth, Cape Town, when she was five. That is where they lived until she eventually left Cape Town for Johannesburg.
At 14 years old, Claire was approached by the owner of Topco Models (a modelling agency) and was asked whether she would be interested in modelling. When she agreed, Topco Models entered Claire into the high status model competition of the year (Cosmopolitan Model of the Year 1994). Claire won the competition at the age of 15 years old. She competed with professionals and established models and still she won. That was an incredible achievement for her as she was new in the industry.
Claire was suddenly on the public eye. She became the youngest and the second black South African beauty to be featured on the cover of the local Cosmopolitan magazine. Claire tried by all means to balance modelling and school work as she was still studying at the time. That was not easy as she was also required to travel to many interesting places doing her job. She went to places like Maui, Hawaii and the Seychelles. Claire always spent her time doing school work if not modelling.
She has also featured in many magazine covers including, True Love, Pace, Drum, Real and Bona. She continued modelling to pay her University fees. She also worked as an intern at True Love magazine as a fashion assistant. Claire also worked passionately at Seventeen Magazine for over a year. She got the call from her agent asking whether she was interested in presenting, as SABC1 was looking for a presenter. Claire could not miss that opportunity; she sent in her audition tape and got the job only two days later. That is when Claire left Cape Town for Johannesburg to start her new job. She lost her job left SABC1 as a presenter, after the management found out that she got it through the back door. She left South Africa for England to look for greener pastures. She worked there for a year at mega retail entertainment leader HMV.
She returned to South Africa in 2002 and became the anchor presenter with Bianca Le Grange and Masello Motana, for SABC1's music programme "One". She became more involved with radio station as a DJ for the 'Smirnoff Experience Dance Mix Show' and as a Lifestyle Team member. She co-hosted SABC2's 'Face 2 Face' with Mark Pilgrim, a reality make over show that targeted unsuspecting shoppers in malls all over the country. She is currently at Metro fm as a lifestyle reporter. She has a son, Neo, who was born in 2004.

Motene Rosie

- Rosie Motene
Rosie Tebogo Motene, a 33 year old South African actress and television presenter was born in Parktown in Johannesburg. She is best known as Tsego Motene for her role as a journalist on the SABC1 soapie "Generations", from 2000-2004. She is also known for hosting the M-Net magazine show Studio 53.
Rosie attended Parktown Convent for pre-school and then Mc Auley House for primary and part of high school. She studied her grade 11 and 12 at Damelin College. She also has a post-graduate qualification from The University of the Witwatersrand's Department of Dramatic Arts.
She has a background in dance, choreography, and theatre. Her theatrical credits include Janice Honeymoon's Turkish Delights, and Johnny Barbuzano's Deep in the loca lala. She also performed lead roles in Dawn Lindburg's award- winning Vagina Monologues and John Kani's Nothing but the truth, which completed a successful tour of Australia in 2005. Rosie has toured once again with the same production in 2007.
Her television career started with her presenting Instyle, an SABC3 magazine programme dealing with food, lifestyle, travel and entertainment. She has continued in this anchor TV role as she now presents and produces inserts for Studio 53 on Mnet which deals with similar themes on the African Continent.
Rosie became a household name after landing a major role on the SABC1 soap Generations, a role which she played for four years.
In recent years, Rosie's focus has moved from the small screen to the big screen. She landed a role in the Academy Award-nominated film Hotel Rwanda, starring Don Cheadle and Nick Nolte. Her second film, The Other Woman, was directed by Cindy Lee and lensed by Lance Gewer who also shot the award winning film Tsotsi. The Other Woman, produced in 2005, is the first film with Rosie in the leading role. Rosie Motene is also the official representative for First National Bank's, MILLION-A-MONTH-ACCOUNT SHOW.
