Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
This, the second Transformers movie, is an action-packed from start to finish. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.
The movie starts in pre-historic times, with a group of Transformers burying something in a tomb in Egypt. In the present day, Sam (Shai LaBeouf) is leaving home for college, leaving his girlfriend Mikaela (Megan Fox) behind. The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, believe that their enemies, the Decepticons, are plotting again to destroy the Earth. They approach Sam for his assistance but he refuses, wanting to lead the life of an ordinary college student.
This is not greatly intellectual material by any means. The plot is thin, the characters weak, and it doesn't even follow on from the first Transformers movie coherently. But oh boy is it ever entertaining! The special effects are riveting. It's a roller coaster ride from one massive destruction scene to the next.
Go see it with an open mind. As long as you do not have great expectations, it will not disappoint.
