History of Calenders
Throughout history, different people have created many ways of keeping track of time, and documented the passing of days. Different cultures have devised different calendar systems. The calendar system we are most familiar with is the Gregorian Calendar, created in the 1500s, and slowly adopted worldwide. However, there are many other calendars, most of them older than the Gregorian.
