IDP

Integrated Development Plan of the City of Cape Town

The Integrated Development Plan (IDP) is a plan for how the City will spend its money for the next five years, on what, and where. It is a plan to help set the City's budget priorities.

The IDP is agreed between local government and residents of the City. It is a plan for the entire City and not just for specific areas. Thus a fine balance needs to be struck in allocating scarce resources.
