The purpose of this notice is to draw the attention of all interested parties to the following:

On 27 January 2010 the Council of the City of Cape Town proposed, in terms of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, and the Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, Transport tariffs with effect from 1 May 2010 for the 2009/2010 Financial year, as follows:

Service Unit 2009/10 Tariff

Airport Service Per trip R50.00

Inner-City Loop Service Per trip R8.00

The report (including attachments) will be available for comment at all municipal administrative buildings, subcouncil offices (listed below) and libraries of the municipality from Monday 1 February 2010 on weekdays between 08:30 and 16:30 up to and including Tuesday 2 March 2010. The documents may also be accessed through the City's website at the following link: www.capetown.gov.za/en/Budget/Pages/OriginalBudgetMay2009.aspx - See Annexure 6).

Any person wishing to comment must do so in writing to the below address by no later than 16:30 on Tuesday 2 March 2010.
