"Talent in action" is a community project based at Mandela Peace Park in Delft. Although their offices are in Delft, the project is not restricted to any one in the community.  This project accomodate anyone within Cape Town area who is talented in the performing arts. The television program airs on Cape Town TV (CTV) every Friday at 7.30 pm.

The project started a month ago by Mr. Randall Titus and Mr. Godfrey Abrahams. They do this entirely on a voluntary basis because they feel passionate about showcasing Cape Town's hidden talent.  Although still in its beginning stages, they are proud to say that they have produced five successful episodes and are now busy with their sixth episode. The aim of the programme is to create a platform for people with talent in all communities in and around Cape Town.

The project aims to take youth off the streets and give them something positive to focus on i.e. how to make their talent work for them, instead of getting involved in illegal activities and drugs.  However, the target market is not only youth; anyone can showcase their talent on the program.  Also, the focus is not only on music, but rather anything in the performing arts, sport and recreation.  If you do not qualify for the show, "Talent in Action" tries to not leave you with an absolute rejection; instead they try to connect you with the right people to help you pursue your dreams.

The search is on; if you feel like you have talent come along and audition for "Talent in Action".  Who knows where this could lead?

Auditions takes place every Tuesday at the Mandela Peace Park (The Hague Main Road – The Hague) in Delft, from 18h00 till late and is on a first come – first served basis.

Come prepared as they often use the tapes recorded during auditions. Please also note that pre-arranged  auditions are also held at different venues all around Cape Town.
