On behalf of the City of Cape Town I would like to wish all our residents a happy and safe festive period. To all those visiting our city, I hope you enjoy your stay, and take full advantage of everything that the Cape has to offer you.

This is a time for families to come together and for all of us to show goodwill and kindness to those less fortunate than ourselves.

2010 was an exciting and eventful year for our city and great lessons were learnt, enabling us all to ensure that the years to follow are even better.
