Vision
The vision of the City of Cape Town Library Service is to empower the community through access to the services and resources required for their informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs.
Mission
The City of Cape Town is committed to providing a free public library service to all its citizens in line with the UNESCO Public Library Manifesto. The library service aims for excellence in providing a highly professional and cost effective lending reference and community information service.
The library provides the following:
