Coping with your Matric results
The Matric results are out and learners have found out their marks. If you have passed congratulations. If you are heading off to study further or you have decided to go work immediately may you have the best of luck.
For those who have failed or not achieved the results they hoped to obtain, do not panic. Panic will not get anything done. Rather try to remain calm and evaluate your situation. If you are eligible to write supplementary exams, you need to apply as soon as possible. Your school will be able to give you the details of the nearest district office which is where you will need to apply.
If you have failed the year and need to redo Matric, submit your application for re-entry into Matric as soon as you can. Remember there is no shame in failing, the shame lies in giving up. However, there are options for you if you failed. Click here to get the options available.
Stay calm, keep busy and remember that this is not the be all and end all of your life. Failing Matric is not the end of the world and it shouldn't block or stop your future goals. Somewhere along the road we have to deal with failure, learn from it and move forward. Failure here is not failure in life. You must also remember that failure is a step towards success. If you persevere and put effort into your life it will be a successful one.
