Looking for a job? Here are some tips:
- Put your CV and cover letter together
- Make sure they are flawless.
- Keep your CV and cover letter short (max. 4 pages in total) and consider what you might do to improve them
- Make your application stand out from others by including things that you are capable and interested in doing even if you never got trained for them.
- Be willing to do anything from sweeping the streets to being a cashier.
- Contact employment agencies
- Consider working on a contract basis
- Contact SETA offices
- Register on the Umsebenzi portal and become available for EPWP work opportunities and training.
- Take anything that you can get
