Nearly everything in today's world is controlled or affected by engineering some way. From Communication systems to mechanical designs, the subject of engineering branches into a large number of subdivisions. The main focus of engineers is to improve people's daily lives according to what they need.

People best suited to becoming engineers are those who have bright imaginations, are very creative when it comes to solving problems and who have a reasonable level of artistic ability. They also have to have strong scientific and mathematical skills because everything to do with engineering is very technical. Since engineering has such a large number of subdivisions, graduates can pursue careers in one of many fields. For example, aerospace engineering where graduates work on designing planes and space shuttles, or chemical engineering where they work on creating new chemical materials and techniques.
